Lt. Governor Rick Sheehy and members of the Nebraska Trade Mission to Japan visited 2 Kawasaki plants and their suppliers today and Kawasaki held a welcome reception for the mission members. Kawasaki discussed their growth industries in the United States and Lincoln. The rail car industry is one of Kawasaki's growth industries, so this has potential for the Kawasaki facility in Lincoln. The Nebraska delegation also saw the first of Kawasaki's new line of motorcycles made during the first day of manufacturing this line.
