Lt. Governor Rick Sheehy visits with young residents of Girls and Boys Town during a recent visit to the campus.

Girls and Boys Town children live family-style in individual homes, 6 to 8 children with a married couple called Family-Teachers. These full-time, highly trained staff members teach children how to live, work and be responsible as functioning members of a family.

Girls and Boys Town operates programs at 19 sites in 15 states and the District of Columbia, providing help, healing and hope to more than 47,000 children annually.
